Applying Your Jazz Band

Watch this short video to learn about the best ways to apply your Jazz Band to various parts of the body.

We recommend you first apply the Jazz Band where you seek relief (neck, back, knees, elbows, shoulder, etc.), and then connect the power and run your session. This way, you won’t accidentally disconnect it while getting situated.

1. Insert the Jazz Band into Pouch

If not already done, place your Jazz Band into the wearable pouch through the designated slot. Ensure the white surface (where the light emits) of the device is visible through the black mesh, as this is the side that will be in contact with your skin.

2. Attach Elastic Band

Connect one end of the elastic band to the fabric sleeve. Wrap it comfortably and snugly around the target area, with the white side (where the light emits) directly on your skin. Note that the product will not work effectively through clothing. Do not overtighten -- the elastic band should be comfortably wrapped with just enough tension to keep the device in place.

3. Experiment for Comfort

The pouch and elastic bands are versatile and flexible. The short band is ideal for smaller areas like knees and elbows, while the longer band is great for the torso, back, and shoulders. You can tuck the Jazz Band beneath snug fitting clothing without using the elastic band (this works well for hips, traps, and upper back). Experiment to find the most comfortable and secure fit.

4. Power Up!

After positioning the Jazz Band, connect the magnetic coupler to the power cord and plug it into the wall (or use the optional Cordless Power Pack or Car Adapter).

Running Your Jazz Band

Running a session with your Jazz Band Live is as easy as clicking a button. With the Jazz Band in place, connect the power via the magnetic connector. After connecting to power, your Jazz Band will run for 1 hour before automatically turning off. You can run back-to-back sessions by simply reconnecting the Jazz Band. For shorter sessions, you can simply unplug when done.

Managing Your Settings

When you first power up your Jazz Band Live, all four modes will be on (red, near-infrared, micro-vibration, and magnetic). Four-mode operation is recommended.

While red and near-infrared are always on, you can easily add or remove micro-vibration and magnetic modes by clicking the switch. You'll feel when vibration is on, and the magnetic mode is on whenever you see the blue indicator light on the switch. When you feel the vibration and see the blue light, all four modes are on.

For convenience, your Jazz Band Live will automatically resume with the most recent settings the next time it is used.
