Your box includes a Jazz Band “Floppy Computer” (affectionately known as the “FISH” for Flexible Intelligent Signaling Host), wearable pouch with elastic band, and a power adapter with cord.
The DNA Vibe mobile app is used to control the Jazz Band, provide feedback, and share your Vibe with friends and family. Please download the mobile app from the Apple App Store (for Apple/iOS phones) or from Google Play (for Google/Android phones). Search the App Store or Google Play Store for “DNA Vibe” to find the app. Downloading the app is free and easy. Once the DNA Vibe mobile app is installed on your phone, you’re ready to Vibe.
Unless already inserted, please Insert your FISH into the wearable pouch through the slot in the pouch. The white surface of the FISH must be visible through the black mesh. This is the side that will be placed against your skin. The short electrical cord should protrude through the pouch via the longer edge of the slot used to insert the FISH into the pouch. Once the FISH is in the pouch, attach either end of the elastic band to the surface of the pouch opposite the mesh fabric. The hook tabs on the elastic band will cling to the loop fabric on the surface of the pouch, and also to the fabric of the elastic band.
Before plugging in your Jazz Band, place the Jazz Band on the area where you wish to apply it with the mesh side of the pouch (and white side of the FISH) against the surface of your knee, elbow, back, etc. Please note the mesh side of the pouch should be placed comfortably against your skin (it will not work as effectively through clothing). With the pouch and device held in place, wrap the elastic band around your arm, leg, back (etc) securely to hold the Jazz Band in place. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. The elastic band should be wrapped comfortably with just enough tension to hold the Jazz Band in place.
A small hook fabric tab on each side of the elastic band is designed as a starter tab to help start the wrapping process. First secure the starter tab to the pouch. This will keep the pouch in place, making it easier to then wrap the remaining length of the elastic band. We recommend a crisscross pattern as you wrap the elastic band to ensure the elastic band overlaps both edges and center portion of the pouch. The size and shape of the pouch, together with the length of the elastic band, are designed to be extremely versatile and flexible. A little experimentation will quickly lead you to convenient and comfortable ways of securing it in place. Once your Jazz Band is in place, plug the device into the power adapter cord, then plug the power adapter into a 110V outlet.
At this point, you’ve downloaded the DNA Vibe mobile app, strapped in, and plugged in. It’s now time to get your Vibe on by following these simple steps:
After each session, you will have the opportunity to share your feedback regarding how you feel and how you experienced relief while using the Jazz Band. Just slide the rating bars with your finger to indicate how you’re feeling after finishing your Session. We also warmly welcome any comments you may wish to share. For example: “My elbow was really stiff and sore, but about 20 minutes into my session, I forgot I was wearing my Jazz Band. It then donned on me that I had also forgotten about the soreness.” This kind of feedback will help us better identify ways to improve device effectiveness.
Please note: Many users report “passive relief” (meaning, they do not actively feel a sensation of increasing comfort or relief while using the device; but, after several minutes they forget they are wearing the device and come to realize their discomfort has vanished. Other users report “active relief” (meaning, they experience a more conscious reduction in discomfort while using the device). Naturally, both results are positive! So be sure to tune-in to understand how you are experiencing the benefits, and please share your feedback.
After each session, you will have the opportunity to tell your friends and family about DNA Vibe. We THR!VE on word-of-mouth, so please share the goodness (and THANK YOU in advance!). Also, the more people use the Jazz Band, the more feedback we’ll have to make ongoing improvements to the Jazz Band’s effectiveness. We’re committed to our mission: THR!VE. And, we’re determined to make the world a better place one better life at a time. By sharing the Vibe far and wide, you will be joining us on our exciting journey to help more people enjoy increasingly effective results in order to feel better and live stronger Win-Win-Win.
Your Jazz Band is a sophisticated electronic device which runs on 12V DC power provided by a power adapter that plugs into a 110V outlet. Please exercise caution when plugging and unplugging the power adapter and device. As with any electric or electronic device, please keep children and pets away from electrical connections. The Jazz Band is designed to operate only with the power adapter that is provided with your product. Do not use any other power adapters to operate the Jazz Band. Do not use your Jazz Band if the device, electrical cord, or power adapter are damaged. While your Jazz Band is water resistant, avoid wetting or submerging your Jazz Band, and keep all electrical connections free from moisture.
Your Jazz Band emits low levels of red light, near infrared light, and magnetic signals. While these low-level signals are both safe and effective, it is advisable that you do not stare directly into coherent light sources like those emitted by the device. Before turning on your Jazz Band (by starting a “Session”), it should be secured in place (for example, around your knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, lower back, neck, or other such application area) with the white surface through which light and other signals are emitted facing toward your skin (see Usage instructions). This will keep the red light, near infrared light and other signals safely out of direct line of sight. Please note that near infrared light is generally not visible, and some users may not see red light, so please follow these safety guidelines every time your device is operating.
Your Jazz Band is designed with the flexibility needed to wrap around various limbs and joints; however, please wrap it gently and do not flex the device beyond what is necessary to secure it in place. The Jazz Band is designed to flex primarily along its length. While it is flexible in all dimensions, avoid bending or flexing the device around its width. Do not wrap the device more tightly than is necessary and avoid rolling the device.
While the Jazz Band is designed to be flexible (bending or wrapping), excessive stretching, tugging or pulling in any direction can damage the device.
For example, while wearing the device on the knee, do not kneel upon the device; or while wearing the device on the elbow, do not lean upon your elbow. Avoid setting heavy objects upon the device.
Jazz Band “Live” is designed for use while plugged into a 110V power outlet. This provides the advantages of an unlimited power budget without the need for recharging. However, use the device only while stationary; for example, while watching television, working at a desk, reading or resting.
While wearing your Jazz Band, and as the discomfort subsides, you may forget you are wearing it and inadvertently get up and walk away. Moving beyond the reach of the electrical cord can result in a sudden strong tug. While the Jazz Band Live cord is designed with a disconnect plug, walking away from the outlet, or tugging excessively at the cord, can damage or destroy your Jazz Band.
Some pets may find the Jazz Band to be a tempting treat. Needless to say, most people would not permit their pets to snack on their mobile phones. Likewise, please keep your Jazz Band safely away from curious pets. Chewing or chomping may damage or destroy your Jazz Band.
Like most electronic devices, exposure to direct sunlight and other heat sources can cause over-heating which may interfere with the device’s operation and potentially damage or destroy the device. The maximum ambient temperature during use of the Jazz Band must not exceed 90F or 32C. Use only indoors or in a cool, dry, shaded area.
If you lend your Jazz Band to another person (a very kind thing to do, by the way), please ensure they are aware of and abide by all safety, use and care guidelines. The Reasonable Use and Care Guidelines apply to all individuals who gain access to and/or use of your Jazz Band.
